Baden-Württemberg is the home to some of Germany's most famous landscapes, including the Black Forest and the shores of Lake Constance. It is an important fruit and wine growing area but also highly industrialised; Stuttgart is the home of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. Along with Bavaria it has one of the lowest rates of unemployment in Germany.
Key cities alongside Stuttgart include Karlsruhe, Mannheim and Heidelberg.
