AKA Car Action, Bump 'n' Jump was unleashed on the
world in 1982 by Data East and/or Bally Midway, depending on
which version you have. It was originally for DECO's cassette system, which
allowed for games to be swapped without swapping the board. It never took off, and it was later released in standard rom form/
Basically, it's a vertically scrolling overhead
view driving game, where you have to eliminate other cars for points, by
either bumping them off the road, or jumping on them. You also have to
jump over some lakes, with bonus points for landing on the
pontoons.
There is a 50,000 point bonus if you finish a level without hitting any cars.
