Pamela F. Service, 1945-
Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy author.
She's kept quiet about herself, but here's what little I've found out:
Born 1945, she grew up in Berkeley, California. She studied Egyptology at the University of California, and got her masters degree from the University of London. She has degrees in both Politics and Archaeology. She spent some time being an archaeologist in Britain, Africa, North America, and Egypt. At some point she started writing; I believe that her first short story was published in 1978. As of 1988, she was living in Bloomington, Indiana, and working as a museum curator (I would guess at the Mathers Museum, but I don't know for sure). She has a husband and at least one daughter.
