Blind,
enthusiastic acceptance.
A newspeak word from George Orwell's distopian novel 1984.
It is also the name of a St. Louis band. It is the brainchild of Tim Gebauer. The rest of the band currently is Mike Speckhard (guitar), Chris Bertke (bass), and Danny Hommes (drums). Their style is alternative with some elctronics in it, similar to Gravity Kills and God Lives Underwater. They have released one CD Long Slow Burn and are currently in the studio working on their second. They won the 2000 Slammies Music Award for "Best Rock Band". The Slammies are a St. Louis music award ceremony (I believe hosted by the Riverfront Times).
