The
District Line of the
London Underground is one of the most
sprawling. Stretching from
Upminster in the east and
Edgware Road in the north of Central
London to
Kensington Olympia,
Wimbledon,
Richmond and
Ealing Broadway in the west, it takes in a very wide area. The District Line is coloured a rich green on the standard tube map.

Hammersmith and City Line from
Barking to
Aldgate East and with the
Circle Line from
Tower Hill to
Gloucester Road and from
Edgware Road to
High Street Kensington. It is concurrent with the
Piccadilly Line between
South Kensington and
Ealing Common, but the Piccadilly has fewer stops.
