one man's trash is another man's treasure, and shopping at various
frift stores is just that. upon entering, there are racks upon racks of
clothing of many sizes, shapes and colours, and finding something is indeed a veritable
treasure hunt.
some days are good, and some are bad. once in a while you will find a whole rack's worth of clothes in similar colours and styles, all the same size. these are from dead people. it's kind of depressing in a bargain-hunting scavenging way.
one thing to be careful of when shopping in a thrift store is to always wear underwear in clothes you've purchased there. as well, buying dishes of any kind is npot recommended. but if you're careful, and take advantage of half-priced tags, then you can come home with an entire wardrobe for the price of one brand-new pair of pants.
