After a hiatus of 19 years, I am returning to flight training with the intent of getting my Private Pilot certificate this time around, come hell or high water. I have a bit of an interesting perspective on it, as I had nearly completed my license those many years ago before running out of money and leaving the vicinity of my flight school (grad school, baby). So for me, flight training is now a mix of half-remembered things, very familiar things, and things I have to unlearn because they changed in the intervening years. Also, continuous reminder of how much weight I've gained and need to lose - Cessnas really don't have much spare volume or load cap for us flabby pilots.
These are the daylogs of my flight training and student pilot flights.
Update: On December 12, 2012 I took my Private Pilot checkride.
I passed.
Watch the skies, people. I'm a piel..er, I'm a peyeluh...um, I is a pylu...uh...I fly airplanes.
