He was being escorted to some forsaken room where his "sentence" would be officially pronounced, something the Feds made sure to "announce" upon their arrival to fetch him from the slammer. It seemed like he was there for days, but he wasn't keeping track of the time. The only thing he could think of the whole time was Charley. He glanced over to the Fed on his right. It was the same one he spat at. Turlo shook his head. "Cadavers," he growled under his breath.

The corridors were crude and unwelcoming. Cheerless officers and soldiers walked past the stationmaster and his escorts, their boots clanging against the grated metal floor; some were carrying pads like the one Vaughan had during the interrogation, and others were carrying firearms---none of them even spared him a glance.

The walls were bare and metal, painted either dark green or black. Lighting wasn't very good, so it made the place look gloomy and sepulchral, reminding Turlo of the shadowy
…A Few Facts About the Atomic Revamp and Redirection Overcharge Weapon System (ARROW) (fiction)http://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko/writeups/A+Few+Facts+About+the+Atomic+Revamp+and+Redirection+Overcharge+Weapon+System+%2528ARROW%2529A.M.Gulenkohttp://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko2014-04-23T00:49:21Z2014-04-23T00:49:21Z
Light Despcription

The ARROW is a weapons system that directs thermonuclear energy (atomic flux) as a concentrated stream at any given target. The power of said weapon is terrible. However, channeling this amount and type of energy creates enormous amounts of heat, nuetron and gamma radiation, and causes many other systems onboard the firing platform to undergo extreme stress every time the weapon is fired. If any one component fails in the ARROW system, the whole thing could destabilize, which means that the system will most likely cause an uncontrolled thermonuclear reaction internally, tearing the ship apart (or vaporizing it). Every single piece of electronic equipment has to be perfectly shielded so as not to be affected in any way by the neutron flux given off by the thermonuclear reactions taking place within the ARROW system; electromagnetic fields have to be 100% functional in order to contain the immense amounts of thermonuclear energy being contained
…Dissidents on Galliom Part 1 (fiction)http://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko/writeups/Dissidents+on+Galliom+Part+1A.M.Gulenkohttp://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko2014-02-19T22:38:16Z2014-02-19T22:38:16Z
A great hulk of machinery hung weightless in space. It was Station Galliom, a stationary platform three kilometers in length housing over 6,000 inhabitants. It was an interkingdom platform, located inside the white zone between the Fifth and Second Kingdom. White zones were neutral and usually spanned 500,000 kilometers, which gave the station a comfortable distance from the paws of either of the Kingdoms.

Deep inside this great whale of a station, Galliom's stationmaster sat on an old chair in his office. He was a burly man in his fifties with hard eyes that had served in the Second Kingdom Navy. At the moment, they were set on the woman who looked to be in her late forties sitting in front of his desk. Her eyes had bags under them, and worry plagued her otherwise handsome feautures. Their conversation had begun not long ago. Stationmaster Turlo was trying his best to calm his guest down. "Ruth, you need to relax. This is an interkingdom station," he said
…Star Kingdom: Spatial Resonance Displacement (SRD) Reactor (fiction)http://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko/writeups/Star+Kingdom%253A+Spatial+Resonance+Displacement+%2528SRD%2529+ReactorA.M.Gulenkohttp://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko2014-01-07T23:16:54Z2014-01-07T23:16:54Z
Before Alpha Year, scientists had an amazing breakthrough. Certain elite in the scientific community (who were not recognized as "elite" before their discovery was recognized) came across a stunning occurrence: they used sound to vibrate certain atoms of certain elements in such a way to where energy was released. When first detected, this energy was at an inconsiderable scale. These scientists did not stop there. They managed to "fine tune" the sound frequencies to a point where the atoms would release enough energy to excite each other, causing the R-particle to be released.

The R-particle had never been observed till then, and its properties and uses were unknown. Nevertheless, the scientists responsible for its discovery were recognized and became a part of the Scientific Elite. Numerous experiments with the R-particle followed, and many of them led to nowhere. At one point, however, a reaction was observed when projecting the R-particle
…Star Kingdom: Platform Category Index (fiction)http://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko/writeups/Star+Kingdom%253A+Platform+Category+IndexA.M.Gulenkohttp://m.everything2.com/user/A.M.Gulenko2013-12-12T17:11:13Z2013-12-12T17:11:13Z
Some might call them "ships," but in the Star Kingdom universe, military spacecraft are called platforms---structures designed to house and carry certain equipment for certain functions and purposes. These platforms are separated by categories (A-F). Platforms belonging to categories A-C are dangerously armed, and are capable of travelling unaccompanied and/or unsupported by other platforms. Category D platforms are always assigned to a platform of the higher categories, and are moderately armed. Categories E-F platforms are lightly armed, if at all, and always require support platforms for self-defense. In the list below, the proper technical designation for each platform is listed first, and then in parenthesis is written the unofficial designation for each platform.

Humankind's expansion into the universe was stayed by the very nature of man. The world was divided by nations. Certain groups of people strived to aggregate humankind into a single pattern of belief, while others tried to wear the iron glove of domination. It was only a matter of time before the terrible powers at large would clash. In an attempt to belay such a thing from happening, the people of the world established the Federal Sanction.

The Federal Sanction was to prevent a world war from happening; surely, such a war would kill all life. Human nature, however, was not to be hindered by mere effort---for human effort is still subjugated by the nature of man... The Federal Sanction was the door through which lay the cosmos. Man finally emerged from the blue planet. Not too much time passed before the Sanction became drunk with power. The hideous, sick claws of abuse began to grow from the hands of the Sanction, and the
…
