Bozyo's New Writeupshttp://everything2.com/?node=New%20Writeups%20Atom%20Feed&foruser=Bozyo2001-12-10T22:27:20Zhiragana (idea)http://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo/writeups/hiraganaBozyohttp://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo2001-12-10T22:27:20Z2001-12-10T22:27:20ZIn addition to the basic hiragana sounds, other sounds can be made by combining two characters.

The two groups of characters that can be combined are the characters ending in 'i' and the characters beginning with 'y'.

An 'i' character is written normally, with a small 'y' character next to it.

It seems that the resultant sound contains a 'y' only if a character already exists that is the same as the combination without the 'y'.

For example, "sha" is written by combining the "shi" and "ya" characters. (しゃ)
"Cho" is written by combining the "chi" and "yo" characters. (ちょ)
"Ryu" is written by combining the "ri" and "yu" characters. (りゅ)
V (thing)http://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo/writeups/VBozyohttp://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo2001-12-10T21:19:36Z2001-12-10T21:19:36ZThe name of the fifth album from the band Live, released in 2001. The originally planned name was Ecstatic Fanatic.

V sounds more surprisingly different than any of Live's other albums, and is less spiritually themed with the exception of a few songs. It has somewhat more of an angry feeling than their other albums, and according to lead singer Ed Kowalczyk was partially inspired by his belief that most modern music is shit. Although some people are glad that Live is taking itself less seriously now, I personally think that most of the lyrics aren't up to the quality of their other albums, and judging by the comments on amazon.com many other Live fans were disappointed as well. Fortunately, it is unlikely that this will be Live's last album, as several members of the band have said that they have no plans to stop anytime soon.

That can be bad, often resulting in being out of control and not being able to slow down, or just falling when you land.Death Blow (thing)http://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo/writeups/Death+BlowBozyohttp://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo2001-01-16T20:39:22Z2001-01-16T20:39:22ZA movie mentioned in at least one episode of Seinfeld.

"Death Blow. I was thinking I was in The Fifth Element, except it wasn't very similar to that movie. All I remember about it was that it was the best movie ever, and I was wishing they would make it into a series.

Another dream I had involved tftv256 finding out my root password and fucking up my system. The character set was sort of messed up, like what sometimes happens when cat'ing a binary file but to a lesser degree. Also, my window manager had been changed to something that looked like a very strange configuration of twm, specially designed to annoy me. I was in a room with lots of other computers, and people at the computers playing some game. I wanted to play the game, but I couldn't because lots of my graphics libs were messed up. And of course he had changed my root password. Stupid tftv256. I'll have to get him back for that. The World's Shortest Hello World (idea)http://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo/writeups/The+World%2527s+Shortest+Hello+WorldBozyohttp://m.everything2.com/user/Bozyo2001-01-11T02:57:20Z2001-01-11T02:57:20ZThere is only one way to make a Hello World program shorter than that.

Add -DA=__FILE__ to the gcc args, and change the source file's contents to just A.

That's the shortest Hello World program possible, as it's just one byte in size.
