The database is an extensive collection of music information organized by artist relationships, but can be sorted and accessed by a variety of means. The growing community has helped the MusicBrainz project evolve rapidly since its inception, boasting a database of 175,037 artists at last count. While its numbers may not be quite as outrageously voluminous as FreeDB or CDDB, most of the entries that it is missing are simply bloated, redundant, or incomplete entries that MusicBrainz users have been able to avoid or quash.

The hugest asset to the MusicBrainz community's functionality is its tagger suite. Currently consisting of MusicBrainzTagger, iEatBrainz, and picard; Windows, OSX, and python based respectively, the taggers provide anyone with a huge unorganized mp3 collection an invaluable tool. The famous incident in question culminated in him calling Ray Charles a "blind, ignorant nigger."

While at a shitty hotel bar in Columbus, Ohio, Elvis got into an argument over the validity of American music with Bonnie Bramlett(of Delaney & Bonnie fame). Guilty of being drunk, and a snarky Brit at the time, Elvis started trying to say things that would get a rise out of Bramlett. He was eventually successful with his nigger comment as she punched him in the face, knocking him from his barstool immediately following his uttering of it.

Obviously, his reputation took a serious hit in America after the incident. Elvis shortly after had a press conference in New York, apologizing and explaining the circumstances of the incident. The apology had little help in recovering his reputation in the states
…Sean Casey (person)http://m.everything2.com/user/Wildebeest/writeups/Sean+CaseyWildebeesthttp://m.everything2.com/user/Wildebeest2005-08-08T06:08:45Z2005-08-08T06:08:45Z
Sean Casey

A high-average strong situational hitter notorious for clutch hitting and smooth swing, Casey is considered one of the best first basemen in the MLB. Casey has spent most of his major league career in Cincinnati after being traded as a prospect from the Indians for pitcher Dave Burba during the 1997 season. A perennial .300 hitter, Casey is always a threat when there are men on base.

For all Casey's strengths one area he certainly lacks in is speed around the base paths. A Young major league baseball player possibly best known for his dubious distinction as the MLB strikeout king, Adam holds the major league record for strikeouts in a single season. With 195 big whiffs in 2004, Dunn shows no signs of slowing as his career progresses. Known to his teammates on the Cincinnati Reds affectionately as "Dunner." This big Texas hoss lives up to the name.

Strikeouts aren't the only thing Dunner can live up to. Adam is also one of the leagues up and coming sluggers, hitting 46 homers in 2004. His literal swing for the fences attitude gives him the backing of fans in The Queen City even as each at-bat is basically boiled down to either the despair of a strikeout or the elation of a round tripper.
It is refreshing to see a player like Adam Dunn make it big in the major leagues when so much emphasis is put on the fundamentals.
