IRC channel that is a virtual representation of Callahan's Place, complete with toasts, puns, and a Mike Callahan bot. There is little to no attempt to simulate the characters in Callahan's Crosstime Saloon or other novels in the series. Rather, the channel was created in an attempt to create the feel of openness, sharing, and support described in the novels. While the channel is not an unqualified success in achieving these goals, the effort is generally clearly visible.
Permanent ops tend to be long-time personalities on-channel, but temporary ops are often given to recent but well-known arrivals.
