The Manic Street Preachers' most well know song. Released before the album Everything Must Go, the single denoted the return of the band to the music scene after disapearance of lyricist and rhythm guitarist Richey Edwards. The single is and upbeat, orchestral piece celebrating working class pride in the Manics' native South Wales. The song reached number 2 in the UK Charts, causing all the cult of Richey types to claim that the band had sold out.
