Canada. Many left to become the
Cajuns of
Louisiana during The
Acadian Expulsion of 1755 (ethnic cleansing is not new) by the British in
Nova Scotia. This event is the source of the
Longfellow poem "
Evangeline."
Though considered rustic by some, the Acadians are a charming and warm-hearted people. As well, hidden away in their villages are many of the world's most beautiful women, with their dark hair and large soulful eyes.
