The Adidas company was born in
1925 in a small village near
Nuremberg,
Germany. The
founder, Adolf "Adi"
Dassler created Adidas after realizing the need for
performance athletic shoes. He started as a small company, producing
running and
soccer shoes. Today, these two types of shoes continue to be what Adidas is famous for. Currently, Adidas is the top seller of athletic shoes in
Europe and ranks second
wordwide.
Subjectively,
Adidas is my favorite brand of casual and sports shoes. Adidas comes up with
sharp-looking designs and nothing looks sharper than their three
stripes. I don't feel that the
swoosh or that Reebok
bleh look sharp at all.
