Do you really want to send Webster 1913 a message saying you like their work?
Kind of the opposite of hibernate (to pass the winter in a dormant state), aestivate or estivate is the warm weather equivalent, referring to spending a dormant summer. I assume this only occurs in really hot places with pleasant warm winters.
