A Norse war Goddess who was one of the Valkyries, the women warriors led by Freyja. The Valkyries were warrior Goddesses who ruled over the battlefields, deciding which side to favour, and thus which side would win. They also determined which battle hero would be taken to Valhalla, and at times were known to participate in battle themselves. Valkyrie means "she who chooses warriors destined to die in battle." The Valkyries rode flying steeds and occasionally became the wives, or more often, the mistresses of mortal me. Though few are differentiated with actual names, Alaisiagae is one whose name is known.

The colour of the Valkyries is gold, the Yew tree their tree, and thier rune is Elhaz.
