Albuquerque Academy is a private, independant, coeducational day school located in northeastern Albuquerque. It has around 1,000 students in grades 6-12.

It's one of the most well-endowed high schools in the nation, (around $200 million) which is pretty remarkable considering that it's in such a small town. The Academy was founded in 1955, and owes its large endowment to Albert G. Simms, who provided the school with huge plots of land which it has gradually sold off.
