1933- American internationally famous artist; one of the founding members of Fluxus.

She was formally trained as a fine artist. She was very Active in Performance Art in New York City. She has also created many Artist Books in her life and greatly expanded the definition of that form.

From 1962 to 1963 she participated in many Fluxus-Festivals in Europe.

She published one of the first examples of computer generated poetry called House of Dust.

Most famous piece: Identical Lunch consists of a specific menu that viewer is to eat. Installation The Big Book was made in NY, toured Canada, Europe and California in the mid-70's. Her 2nd walk-in book The Book Of Bean from 1983 appeared in Venice. Books she wrote include:
