A non-profit organization in Allegheny County, PA. Its members voluntarily undergo full police training, and serve as volunteer deputy sheriffs whenever the sheriff needs their assistance.

They often work various details at fireman and church fairs, and other occasions which would take full-time deputies away from their regular duties.

The reserve deputies are fully trained, and have the same police powers as full-time deputies. They are considered by many to be top cops, not only because of their training, but also because of their dedication to sacrifice their own free time to assist the sheriff.

Allegheny County includes the City of Pittsburgh.
