America's Funniest Home Videos

A popular primetime show that aired in the early 90's, featuring home movies sent in by viewers who had a chance to win up to $10,000. Hosted by tv sitcom's favorite father figure, Bob Saget. A small example of videos aired on America's Funniest include "Lady stuck in dishwasher", "Nads kicked sky-high by horse", and "Fecal-matter baby". Many individuals would claim that such is a symptom of all that is sick, twisted, and wrong with society, but they obviously have forgotten about America's Funniest People.

The videos on Funniest Home Videos are made up of shaky footage, questionable framing and dodgy audio.

The recurring events which are deemed to be the "funniest" every season are:

• A man gets kicked or hit in the balls by a child/ball/bat/animal.
• A cat or dog chases its tail until it gets dizzy and falls over/walks into a wall.
• A pet bird grabs the nose/nose hair of the person it's sitting on and twists it.
• A child sitting in front of the TV sings along to the 'FHV' theme song.
• A fat, elderly lady dances and then falls over, or, alternatively, shows her underpants to the camera.
• A bride:
  • falls over walking down the aisle
  • falls over while dancing at the reception, showing her underpants to the camera
  • faints during the ceremony
  • fumbles her lines
  • throws her bouquet overenthusiastically, causing audience injury or structural damage.
• A home handyman:
  • drives his truck into the building he's supposed to be fixing, or the one next door
  • makes a hole in the wall when he's trying to hang a picture
  • suffers a horrific but non-fatal injury while using a power tool.
