First novel by author Sture Dahlström written in 1961.
The book is about Jeb Stark and his jazz playing friends who start playing in Sweden, and then move on southwards to Copenhagen, Paris, Spain and Morocco to play and live.
There are fast discussions about litterature amd jazz and what you should do with your life. The speed is high and on a few pages you can travel trough numerous countries, enjoy several bebop sessions, discussions about true music and meet some odd personalities. The whole presentation swings in a free and harmonious kind of way. Jeb finds true love in the beautiful Helen, an adventourus artist, and she gives him direction in his chaotic life.
