Snow covered the sky; covered the ground,

a patchwork blanket, grey and off white.
It took the place of late afternoon's fog.

Neither traffic nor random garbage cans diminished its beauty,
sugar colored benches, buses and cars.

In a few days there will be stale puddles, salt trails on sidewalks and
brown hills of shoveled leftovers.

But, I chose to focus only on this moment,
a single magic afternoon.
Reality will make its case another day.
