A virtual operating system, running on the top of an existing POSIX-compliant system. Designed and implemented by Michal Zalewski and a group of security experts, it features HAC for fine-grained access control as well as common layer for creating secure distributed applications (remote IPC is essentailly the same as IPC from the programmer's point of view).
Argante comes with an assembler, a high level language compiler (AHLL) and a couple of sample programs, such as httpd server and distributed virtual router.
