sound cards. Their new
cards, such as the
Vortex-based cards (that don't exactly
suck =), use
A3D, their
API for
3D sound. The Vortex cards seem to be adequate enough, but the
support for
Linux is lacking as of yet.
(Update 2001-03-09: Aureal got into deep financial problems and got bought by Creative Labs in September 2000...)
