Dweezil Zappa - Automatic (2000)
Favored Nations Records

Dweezil Zappa (acoustic & electric guitars, bass)
Ahmet Zappa (vocals)
Lisa Loeb (spoken vocals)
Blues Saraceno, Mike Keneally (guitar);
Scott Thunes, Chris Maloney , Mark Meadows, Bryan Beller (bass)
Joe Travers (drums, percussion)
Terry Bozzio (drums)
Dick Cinnamon (percussion)

In typical Zappa fashion, this is a challenging and interesting album, with heavy classical and jazz influence. Many of the songs are built off of tracks recorded during Shampoohorn and Music For Pets, with Dweezil having rerecorded much of the guitar and some of the bass parts. The album received rave reviews in all the guitar and musician oriented magazines, as one might expect for an album by any Zappa.
