This is a song by Ween, from the album The Pod.

Imagine this: Relentless room-shaking bass. Over and over. Dun-dun-dun-dun, DUN DUN DUN. Got an awesome sound! Okay, okay, we hear you.

Got an awesome sound goin' down.
Got a pork roll egg cheese and bacon.

Pork roll, egg, and cheese seems a theme here . . . they like those things. "Pork Roll Egg and Cheese" is in fact a song later on the album, plus they mention it in "Frank."

Got some--got some awesome sound goin' down
All right. Lay it on me!

Gene keeps yelling "stop it" and the music stops, and then he yells "hit me!" and it starts again, and they do their "awesome sound" goofiness, and then he stops and starts again.

Oh. Oh yeah. Baby. Hit me again! Stop it.
Hit me again! Oh yeah. Hit me again! Stop it. Hit me again!

This is not much of an "awesome sound." It is quite distorted and metallic, and there is no singing, just random screaming about awesome sound. And yes, this begins to get the band quite excited!

Oh! Oh! Hit me again! Hit me again! Oh!
Got an awesome sound. It's goin' down.
Got this awesome sound. It's really goin' down.
Got this really fuckin' awesome sound.
Hit me! Hit me! Hit me again! Oh! Oh! Hit me!
One more time!

With ear-bleeding bass live, you begin to scream, "No, Lord, PLEASE, DON'T HIT HIM AGAIN!"

Got an awesome sound goin' down.
Got an awesome sound goin' down.

On tape or CD, at least it eventually ends, or you can smash your stereo with a hammer. Live, it does not end until one of them passes out. Or just gets sick of it. I do not recommend standing near the speaker during this song, even if it means you have to go into the mosh pit to escape. My brain will never be the same.
