The BBC Learning Zone is an educational programme slot on BBC Two.
Shown overnight after the regular BBC Two programming has finished, each Learning Zone transmission focuses on one of four areas:-
- Schools' Programmes (Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays)
- Languages and Travel (Tuesdays)
- Workskills (Mondays)
- Open University and General Interest (Saturdays and Sundays)
Typically, the Learning Zone will show several editions or a complete series of a given programme back-to-back. Obviously, the intention is that these will be recorded overnight and watched at a later date.
