The transit system that "serves" Vancouver, British Columbia. Other than Skytrain, it generally sucks. The buses are slow, and they stop running at 1:00 AM, just in time for bars to start closing.


For some reason, they now want to be called Translink.
Update 16/09/2000: gah, NOW they want to be called Coast Mountain Busses.
BC Transit is a crown corporation responsible for public transit in British Columbia outside of Greater Vancouver. (The vancouver system used to be part of BC Transit until 1999, when it was put under the control of the newly formed GVTA, now Translink, to allow greater local control of the system. Translink is not BC Transit, and Translink is not just transit.)

BC Transit comprises various regional transit systems, the largest being Victoria.
