BCIT is one of the better training schools in BC (compare to those MCSE/Cisco test centers "colleges"). It gets the job done.

Going to BCIT for something of lasting values (like decent liberal arts and sciences background) may seem a little strange. But going to BCIT for a practical and real-world crash course in C++, Oracle DBA, labby training, and metal works makes all the sense in the world. You can quickly get into the job force after less than (or much less than) two years at BCIT. Many employers praise it for this very quality. The school is a bit small compare to UBC or SFU so you won't feel a crowd, but party animals would feel lonely--but also feel expertly trained.
