Beef jello is one of many strange Russian food dishes. Usually, it is served in between meals as a palate cleanser. The color is usually light orange or brown. Sometimes it even has chunks in it...mmm! As the name implies, it is gelatin made with animal flavoring instead of fruit. The most common flavors are beef and pork, though your Russian friends may never let you know what's really in it until after you're done.
