Located approximately 30 miles east of New York City, Bellmore is a suburban town on the south shore of Long Island. Oddly enough, there are no fast food restaurants in Bellmore (not to worry, there are a ton of them in the neighboring towns of Merrick and Wantagh, and you're never more than a few miles from the next town).
Bellmore is home to two high schools - W.C. Mepham High School and John F. Kennedy High School. These schools are part of the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District.
