Ben Kerr is a fixture at the corner of Yonge Street and Bloor in Toronto, Canada. Busking with a Karaoke machine, he has been singing about love, women, pain and other themes associated with country music as well as cayenne pepper since 1988.

His roots have been planted in Canadian country music since the early 1960s when he played in the Mynah Birds with then unknowns Neil Young and Rick James.

Kerr has run in every Toronto mayoral election since 1975 but has never held elected office.

Give him a buck and he'll say "Tonight's your night, make a wish".
