Amy and Elizabeth (they're sisters) met with Alyson in the mid-late 80s and first performed at a birthday party for the owner of the 9:30 Club in DC. They grew quickly after being cast as the house band for HBO's "Encyclopedia" and moved to New York in 1987. In 1995, they added Tony (Alyson's longtime boyfriend) and started going playing with various drummers. Mino has signed on most recently.
