'Biostitute' is the unofficial term for a biologist who works for a consulting ferm solely for profit. This often also goes along with violating ones morals for said profit (for example, assisting developers in 'mitigating' their unnecessary golf course).. Sadly, many of the biologists I work with have lost their love and wonder for the world and now fall into this catergory.
