Organized blood drive events where people come to donate their blood to the Red Cross. They are hosted by volunteers, businesses, churches, communities, schools, etc.
Also, used to refer to the big, modified RV-like vehicles owned by the Red Cross that go to blood drives with the necessary equipment for blood donation.
