Boston College, or BC, is a small Jesuit college located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. The campus is predominantly funky Gothic architecture, and is festooned with impressive religious statuary. The football&team is the Boston College Eagles. Boston College is a Jesuit University located in Chestnut Hill, MA. There are over 9,000 undergraduates and about 4,000 graduate students. The university was founded as as a small commuter school in 1863. Since then it has grown into a national university. US News & World Report consistently ranks BC in the top 35 schools in the US. In addition to academics, BC students participate in NCAA Division I Sports. The undergraduate newspaper is called The Heights.
