pseudoscience.
A belief that one can subsist entirely through
carbon,
nitrogen and
oxygen inhaled from the air. Adherents view eating and drinking as an addiction that can be cured; via nourishment obtained through "pranic feeding". A
guru of this movement is Jasmuheen, formerly known as Ellen Greve, an
Australian.
She claims to have existed on "liquid air" since 1993, and that she has 5000 followers worldwide.
