This is an annual concert (except for 1987) started by Neil Young benifiting the Bridge School (one of his kids went to school there - so I understand). The Bridge Schhol is an alternative school for physically challenged, severely speech impaired children.

All shows have been held outdoors, in the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA, except for Bridge II, which was held indoors in the Oakland Coliseum.

Neil Young is the MC of the event and usually joins each artist for a song or two in addition to opening the show with an acoustic set each year.
