Around 1982, guitarist Tim McGovern, bassist/guitarist/keyboardist Rob Rio, drummer Barry Wisdom, percussionist Michael Temple, saxophonist Jeff Hollie, and keyboardist Morley Bartnof formed Burning Sensations with the intent of exploring fusions of
world music and
rock and roll. Other than the non-world-music
cover of
Jonathan Richman's
Pablo Picasso, they disappeared without a peep. Temple (and several other members) resurfaced as
The Bonedaddys in the late 80's.
