The identification code of an internal combustion engine produced by Vauxhall/Opel (production ended in the late 1990s). It was installed in the Cavalier/Vectra-A Turbo and the Calibra Turbo, produced from about 1992-1995 (British 'K' through 'M'-reg).

The engine is a 4-cylinder DOHC (double overhead camshafts) configuration and the code identifies the engine as:

• Utilizing a catalytic converter
• Having a displacement of 2.0 litres
• Having a compression ratio (the air pressure in each cylinder when under maximum compression, compared to ambient air pressure or one atmosphere) of 8.5:1 to 9.0:1
• Using multi-point injection (where one fuel injector is used for each cylinder fed by a fuel rail, compared to single point injection which uses one injector to feed all cylinders via a carburettor of sorts)
• Being equipped with a turbocharger.

The engine as used in the Cavalier/Calibra Turbo variants uses a Bosch Motronic 2.7 engine management system. It produces 204BHP at 5600RPM and 206.5lb/ft of torque at 2400RPM. The two cars that use it have quite a cult following in Britain as they are not only the most powerful stock versions of their respective models (not to mention highly tuneable) but are also the rarest.
