The COP .357 is a fairly unique weapon. Most firearms are fed from a removable clip, magazine, or revolving chambers. The COP, instead, has four barrels. Manufactured by the now out of business COP Inc. of Torrance, California, the COP (Compact Off-Duty Police) was designed as a simple and sturdy back-up firearm for police. It’s made almost entirely out of stainless steel, with the exception of the wooden grip. However, this decision resulted in a relatively heavy weapon, as it weighs 28 oz. empty. Suggested retail price is $350, but in reality, usually goes for $495 to $550.
The COP has made appearances in the movies Blade Runner and The Matrix Reloaded.
