I, personally, consume about twice this amount of caffeine per day, but I think you have to get your 250mg all at once to experience the above symptoms, since I usually only experience a few of them. Perhaps, though, I have grown a powerful tolerance.

If you have a low tolerance, caffeine intoxication is fairly easy to accomplish. It's also pretty dangerous.

A quick glance at the nutrition labels in the energy drink section at your local convenience store reveals not all drinks are created equal. A lot of them average around 80 mg caffeine per 8 oz. can, which is slightly less than a cup of coffee (not counting the cocktail of other ingredients which may or may not have an effect on your energy levels). Some of them however, have considerably more. Spike Shooter has a whopping 300 mg per 8 oz can. For those who didn't do too well in math, that's roughly 3 times as much caffeine per oz. Costing a mere $2.67 per can, this brand will give you the most bang for your buck.

So much caffeine in one little can is somewhat dangerous, so the manufacturers plastered the can with warnings advising to only drink one can a day, don't drink if you're under 18, pregnant etc. Those were probably meant for marketing more than anything else. I completely ignored them and bought 2 cans, which I drank in about 10 minutes. That was a mistake.

After a few minutes my heart rate jumped to around 120-130 bpm (it was hard to count fast enough). I was trembling about as much as a washing machine with too much detergent. I felt euphoric yet also terrified that if I didn't hold still enough I would have a heart attack. I had every single symptom listed in the above write up.

A few shaking, insane hours later I crashed. While I was glad I avoided any sort of heart attack I still felt roughly like my whole family had just died. I felt completely exhausted yet I couldn't sleep. I spent about an hour calling myself stupid for being so reckless.

Needless to say, that was the last time I drank Spike Shooter.
