As the name suggests, a lotion containing calamine. Useful for the temporary relief of things like insect bites, sunburn and poison ivy. It's usually a pinkish liquid which can be applied to the affected area with cotton balls. It should not be used on infectious conditions like chicken pox.

This is also the name of a song sung at summer camp.

Calamine, Calamine, Calamine Lotion,
Oooh, no more Calamine Lotion.
Itchy, itchy, scratchy, scratchy Oh! I got one on my backy!
Oooh, no more Calamine Lotion.

The accompanying dance to the song is a) pretend like you've got an empty bottle of lotion and then to b) hop around, scratching your back.

This song can be sung singly (with the camp counselor in the lead) or in a round.
