Coming out of Cambridge in the 1930's the assertion that a change anywhere in the world alters the essential nature of everything else in the world through altering the relations that hold in the world.

"If a sandcastle falls in Brighton the very nature of the Great Pyramid is changed"

Such class of change is a Cambridge change as opposed to a direct physical change.
