Captain Howdy was Dee Snider's character in the movie Strangeland. He has multiple piercings and a tribal tatoo that cover half of his body. His long pink curly hair make for a great villian.

Captain Howdy was also the spirit the little girl in the movie the Exorcist was talking to before she became possesed.

The band that Penn Jillette (of Penn and Teller fame) fronts. Songs include: "I Just Want To Get Laid" and "I Long For Kyoto", which is based on a haiku by Basho and concerns sex with Mick Jagger.

The band is basically a pure rock group drawing influence from guitar jazz, folk, and 80's synth-pop. The lyrics are something one would expect from the vocal contingent of Penn & Teller. Penn plays bass.
