The Carnegie Science Center is a a science museum. It's located near on the north side of Pittsburgh, near the stadiums. It has a Omnimax theatre (Rangos), a World War II submarine (the USS Requin), a 2,300 sq ft miniature railroad, and a planetarium. The complex totals 186,000 sq ft (one for every mile a light travels in a second :). It has over 250 hands-on exhibits covering 45,000 sq ft.

The Carnegie Science Center was built in 1991 at it's current location. It was originally known as the Buhl Science Center, founded in 1939.
