Chatherine Black is a character from the TV series
Millennium.
She is a clinical social worker who deals with many of the victims of crimes like those her husband Frank Black investigates. While her husband works to rein in the evil committed by dangerous criminals, Catherine tries to help their victims recover from the damage they've inflicted and to prevent more crimes from being committed.
Following her abduction by the Polaroid Stalker, Catherine and Frank separated so she could distance herself and their daughter Jordan from Frank's dangerous work.
Catherine's fatal exposure to the Marburg Virus fueled Frank's anger toward the Millennium Group which he believed engineered the deadly plague.
