Young Sherlock Holmes, among others. He made his
directorial debut with
Adventures in Babysitting, and made it big with
Home Alone and its
sequel. He also directed two
Robin Williams movies:
Mrs. Doubtfire and
Bicentennial Man. His latest project is
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
As you can see, this guy has a dubious distinction of never having been even involved in a good movie. *sigh* Well, here's hoping he doesn't totally destroy Harry Potter.
