A Roman Catholic high school in the New York City metropolitan area, known for its excellent sports programs.

Christ the King is located on Metropolitan Avenue in the borough of Queens, near the northern terminus of the M Train. Its girls' basketball program is especially famous, having won 18 straight CHSAA championships and 13 straight state titles. Current WNBA stars Chamique Holdsclaw and Sue Bird attended Christ the King, as well as Boston College standout Clare Droesch. The team's current star is Israeli-born shooting guard Shay Doron.

The boys' basketball program is highly successful to a lesser degree, having won a more modest number of championships. Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom was a graduate of CK, as well as former NBA ballers Jayson Williams and Khalid Reeves. Omar Cook, formerly the point guard for the St. John's Red Storm, also attended Christ the King.

The boys' baseball program has graduated LHP Allen Watson and RHP Steve Karsay, currently the setup man for the New York Yankees.
