French for "Canadian Athletic Club", and the original name for the "Club de Hockey Canadien". Otherwise known as the "Montreal Canadiens".

The name was originally applied in in 1910 after the purchase of the team by George Kendall-Kennedy from J. Ambrose O'Brien. The name remained until the team joing the National Hockey League (NHL) in 1917. At which point they adopted the name "Club de Hockey Canadien".
